AMAC VESSEL

The Auckland Maritime Adventure Company owns Shagga, which is a 6.2M Stabicraft aluminum pontoon vessel powered by 2004 150 Mariner Optimax outboard, with onboard toilet.  Shagga is capable of a fast cruise of 30kts, with top speed of over 40kts – hence more fishing time.  However speed is of course subject to boat loading and sea/wind conditions.

•Shagga is in Safe Ship Management with SGSM&I and in survey to carry six adults, albeit no more than four recommended for fishing.   Shagga is licensed for Inshore Limits of Northland, Auckland, Great Barrier Island, the Coromandel and Enclosed Water Limits for the Kaipara.
